If you make yourself throw up can you lose weight?!

Question: If you make yourself throw up can you lose weight?
I know its bad but I've gotten to the point where I couldn't care a less.
Say you eat like 500 calories a day and make yourself throw up everyday can you lose weight?
how much?

thanks :)

Answers:

you cant live on 500 calories a day, you need atleast 1200 to be able to make it to the next.

and yeah you will lose weight, but idk how much.

and you could also kill yourself in the process. by getting very sick,

If you vomit right after you eat you'll hardly digest the food, and won't get many calories from it. This is extremely bad for you as if you don't get enough calories and nutrition your body will begin breaking down muscle for essential nutrients, which will lead to permanent damage to your body, especially your heart. It'll also lead to your hair, skin and nails deteriorating due to a lack of essential nutrients, so not only will you have terrible health issues but you'll look terrible as well, and a lot of the damage can never be reversed, so you'll grow old looking terrible too.

Do NOT think like this, this is bulimia.

A women needs at LEAST 1200 per day, going less than that is terrible for your health and actually will harm you in the long run.

I don't know how much you weigh, but starving yourself is not the way to lose weight.
Remember Skinny girls with their bones showing aren't pleasant to look at,its sad not beautiful.

you need to lose it the 'healthy way'
If you could tell me your height and weight I'd be able to help you more.

Remember what you weigh is just a number,it doesn't matter if its big or small you will always be beautiful, accept who you are and don't look at magazines and tv and go "I wish I looked like her"
because in reality they're either photoshopped or starved.

Your BMI is 24.1 which means you are in the healthy weight range,I'm guessing you are in your teens? You're Most definitely not fat, what you are seeing is just a bit of extra skin that needs to be toned.

There are more tips and info.

1. If what you are eating has less than 1 carb, count it as 1 carb just to be sure.

2. Totally avoid caffine at least for the first two weeks on the program.

3. Drink a MINIMUM of 8 glasses of plain water or seltzer daily.

4. Don't weigh yourself more than once a week

5. Take starting measurements as well as weight - sometimes you'll lose inches before pounds

6. Avoid any type of "low carb" sweetener for the first two weeks

7. Don't compare your loss to someone else's - this is a YMMV thing (your milage may vary)

8. Stalls are common around the third week so don't panic

9. If you follow your plan to the T and don't lose, consider Candida as a possibility and avoid vinegar, cheese, mushrooms and any other fermented food

10. Have bloodwork done before starting so you have a comparison

11. Cholesterol can be elevated in the first few weeks til your body adjusts - make sure your doctor knows that you're doing low carb and when you started

12. Don't blame the diet if you don't read your plan book -- blame the diet if you don't read the labels -- Don't blame the diet if you don't follow the diet
Good Luck and Take care :-)

you will lose weight but it is basically starving yourself and isn't the best thing to do for your long term health, not to mention that bulimia (vomiting after eating), can cause bleeding of the esophagus(throat), rotting teeth, bad breath, severe dehydration, swollen neck, and infertility. the best way to lose weight is to diet and exorcise. http://www.muscleandstrength.com/ try this website if you have any questions or are looking for a diet/work out

Diet pills work ok, but no real nutritional value to them and have unknown side effects depending on how long its been out on the market. That being said you might want to try supplements that have a positive nutritional impact on you body. I have been taking this supplement for a great while and let me tell you it works great. . It appears you probably just do alot of cardio and very little if any resistance training. Losing wieght fast is not a healthy way to lose wieght. Know if you want to lose fat and keep it off you must increase lean muscle mass. But to answer your question. You can lose wieght fast but it will most likely be water weight and come right back. I can tell you how if you interested. Hit me up on my youtube account

leeaahh, I had a long term problem with my weight, I was as much as 60 pounds overweight for a 3 year period, as I entered my 30's.

I tried every diet you have ever heard of, and made up a few of my own. Nothing I tried would help me lose any weight, and then I found this website. Maybe you can get some help there too.

The short answer is no. You may lose a little but what else you lose if far worse. Food is fuel for the body. We function on the proper nutrients in that food. You give up those nutrients and other organs in the body will suffer and not function properly. Why eat it if you just going to give it up? That's like working hard for a week's pay then giving all your money to a friend. Or cashing your check then throwing the money down the sewer. I know you wouldn't do that. You're not that much over a good desired weight. With the proper workout program you can eat more food then you think you can and still lose weight. When I trained for my last show for a 10 week period I ate seven meals a day, drank over 500 lbs...yes that pounds...of water and still lost 15 lbs in the process. It's all about what, when and how much you eat. My workout partner is a woman who's 5'8 and she weights the same as you. She's solid and only has 9% body fat. No one ever comes close to guessing her weight. They all say in the 115 to 125 range...not even close. Don't sell yourself short on setting some short term goals to lose a little at a time. Changes in the body takes time. I've been doing this for a long time and it still took me 10 weeks to get ready for a show.

No. You will not loose weight instead you'll die.

Trust me.

To loose weight, here it is..

Eat only fruits every dinner (strictly)

Jog, Jump rope, Swim or Dance everyday (or at least 3 times weekly)

Drink a lot of water

Lessen your lunch servings

Full breakfast meal

Take note of everything, I promise you, with discipline, you will see fast result

You need like 1500-2000 calories a day, so eating 500 calories is even too little
just by only eating 500 calories you are losing weight

never ever make yourself throw up

No, throwing up doesn't work(that's why true bulimics don't loose weight), you're anorexic anyways if you really only eat 500 calories, so get some help.

well there is an equation for working out how much calories you eat and how much you throw up
L= lose W=weight C=calories T=time H=how much you want to lose
WxH/CxT=L

Yes, but you then mess up your regular metabolism instead of speading it up and you get fat again.

of course you'd lose weight, but you'd be simultaneously screwing with your body.

Duh

Um....common sense really.
