How bad is it not eating breakfast?!

Question: How bad is it not eating breakfast?
Ive been not eating like for 2 years and a half now and i seem fine. I eat a lot when it comes to food but i only eat once a day. Im sure im not anorexic but i was curious if this is unhealthy. Since my body IS used to it?

Answers:

Well your system is used to it now, and if your all right it can't be doing any harm, it can't be unhealthy because I don't eat it and I seem to be fine, tbh, I would rather have an extra 10 minutes in bed than get up and eat breakfast!

I never eat breakfast. I also never eat lunch.

I usually eat only once a day, but since I only eat when I am hungry, there are some days that I don't eat at all.

I had a co-worker once who was from India. Because of her religion, every year she would not eat anything for an entire month. The only thing she would take is plain hot water for that entire month and nothing else.

She was just as full of energy and cheer as she always was, and she didn't loose that much weight either.

Eating 3 meals a day is ridiculous and wasteful. No one needs that much food.

But we are conditioned from when we are children that when the clock says it is time to eat, we must eat food even if we are not hungry, or are busy doing something.

What you are doing is much healthier than what the majority of people are doing.

So long as you drink when you are thirsty, and eat when you are hungry, it doesn't matter what the clock says, or that society says it is "time to eat", hungry or not.

You and I save a lot of money over the years too!

Your body hates that, Ignore what everyone else is saying. And that guys supposed co worker probably is only aloud to eat at night and only water in day as indian culture was explained to me. You only drank water for a month you would be dead.

Let's say you eat dinner at 6pm and wake up in the morning at 7 pm. Your body is starving all night in it's sleep so if you don't eat breakfast your body is starving about 75% of the day, whether you feel it physically or not. This can lead to many potential health problems in the future.

I know how you feel I HATE eating a large breakfast. My breakfast usually consist of a multi vitamin, caffeine, apple or orange juice (the real healthy ones) a piece of toast OR a scrambled egg, and always a piece of fruit like a banana or half an apple. You really don't have to eat a bagel and a stack of pancakes to get your body going.

I'm mostly active after noon so my biggest meal is lunch so I burn it off, because I go to the gym after I get everything done so that's healthiest for me.

When I come home I'll have have dinner about 6 or 7. which is bigger than breakfast but definitely smaller than lunch. Smaller dinners are better for your metabolism because people are usually lazy after 6, and if they do leave the house they are usually driving. Never eat within an hour of going to bed.

Hope this helped!
I'm in good shape and 5'3" 106-110 pounds due to fluctating water weight.

I think that if you have adapted to it fine then you SHOULD be ok. It is extremely better to eat a good breakfast in the morning, because then you have even more energy than right now. if you are A-ok without food in the morning, think of how great you could be and feel if you had at least a small granola bar or cereal!

Well eating breakfast will make u have more energy during the day. Makes your brain function better and will make you eat less throughout the day. I would also eat at least three meals a day. Your body might not get the right amount of nutrition that it needs.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day :D if u dont eat breakfast it slows down your memtabolism and you dont get ur energy till you eat lunch or whatever

Break fast is very necessary; It should daily routine.

I don't eat breakfast and I'm fine.
