Question: I need to loose weight but i love to eat?
Hi. I'm only 14 and I'm really overweight. I'm trying to loose weight because bathing suit season is coming up and I'm probably one of the fattest girls in my grade. I tried Weight Watchers in September and it lasted about a month, I lost 10 pounds but recently gained it back. I'm always hungry and never know when I'm full. Its like impossible for me to diet :( I really need to loose weight but I can't stop thinking about food? Also, when I go out to eat I always have to have an appetizer and dessert. The summer was terrible because I look terrible in shorts and bathing suits and I didn't want to go anywhere. Lastly, I've noticed that I'm getting a slight double chin...I have a really pretty face but now...

Please help me?

Ok hunny . I was really fat really fat and i hated doing p.e even . But the key to losing weight is actually qite easy they say its hard but i did it . I firstly did this i hate my breakfast,dinner,super,then a sweet and one packet of crips so i was not getting the feeling of needing to eat. A healthy diet is good but then there is the working out , i know it sucks this part. I bought a work out dvd and it worked every muscle in my body . As i could not walk up a hill without becoming breathless. I was 17 and half stone and now i am 14 and 3pounds , i was a size 20 on jeans now 16. I still have alot way to go. It is comfort food you are eating sometimes you wont even be hungry just its routine for you . If you feel hungry eat a yoghurt or drink water. I know have a treadmill and work out each day and thats my goal is to get down to a size 10. Also it is good setting yourself goals it keeps you positive .xxx

The joy of eating is one of life's greatest pleasures. I know what your talking about,Keep in mind losing weight is very demanding and dieting is truly a nasty experience. Denying one self food and sweets is close to torturing yourself but that is what it takes.If you decide to diet and exercise plan to do it in a week or 2 .Set a date and prepare yourself in advance.Hope this helps.

You're probably getting a lot of bad information about what to eat and how much. You should never be in a constant state of hunger when trying to lose weight. I'm guessing you've been told to burn more calories than you eat and to avoid eating fat. That's a great way to ensure that you are always hungry and that you will fail.


Instead, eat real, whole food. Eat meat, vegetables and some fruit. Don't eat bread or starchy foods like pasta or rice. You need protein, carbohydrates and fat to be healthy and feel good. Keep your carbohydrate intake below 150g for the first few weeks, then lower it to about 100g. Eat plenty of protein, like .75g for every pound of body weight. And don't shy away from natural fats, like eat whole eggs, or dark meat chicken. There are other good sources like avocados, olives, olive oil, almond butter, etc. Avoid vegetable oils, like canola oil.

Also, think about why you are in this position. Is it just from not knowing what to eat? Do you over-eat, like when you are stressed?
