Is this the right protein?!

Question: Is this the right protein?
Im skinny and would like to add muscle mass. would taking usn 100% whey help? also have you used it is it any good?

Answers:

Yes, but when you build muscle you shouldn't only focus on the protein. You should also focus on the carbohydrates and fat. Not many people tell you this, but in order to build muscle you need fat, like inside the muscles you need to have fat. Also, you should eat protein meals, the whey protein is kind of like a supplement. Try eating more lean chickens, egg whites, vegetables, apples, oatmeal, and any kind of natural nuts. And plenty of water!

I've never used that particular brand but I do use protein drinks in general. My advice would be yes it will help you add muscle as it gives you the amino acids needed to repair the muscles after working out.

However, I would like to emphasise that if you are skinny and wanting to gain quality weight FOOD is your main priority. I cannot stress this point enough. Protein shakes help but it's getting quality calories from nutritious food that will help you the most.

Don't believe the hype from magazines and supplement companies, remember they only want to get your money. Eat lots of good quality food, train hard and be consistent, those are the 3 things that put muscle on people not gimmicky hyped up supplements.

Carbohydrates are required for protein repair/ build to take place.(the repair fuel)
Proteins are there to repair and maintain your muscles

You can only add mass if you HIT YOUR MUSCLE HARD, you need to get serious about it.

you dont even need protein powder yet, just eat some steak, roastbeef, chicken, fish, burgers, any source of meat.

protein powder is for serious lifters
