meat is an essential part of the diet so by replacing it with something means ull get ill quicker as u wont be giving ur body the nutrients and ingredients it needs



I would think that it depends on what kind of meats you are cutting out. If you are talking about fatty meats like beef or pork then most likely, it will aid in losing weight.

Much of the time you gain or retain weight because of foods and drinks that are instantly converted into energy that your body can't or doesn't use. That is then stored by your body to use later most of the time.

Usually cutting out food that contain High Fructose Corn Syrup will aid in the weight lose process also.



Replacing meat in your diet with say vegetarian, or vegan alternatives will help you lose weight but only if you make other changes to your lifestyle. Add 30 mins of light exercise 3 x a week to your routine, eat more raw food and drink more water at least 2 liters daily will all combine to help you manage your weight and slowly but surely shift the pounds.

your body needs protein still. you can get it from eggs and beans and other legumes, which by replacing meat with foods that equal your daily amount of protein, (or at least a good percentage), you could definately lose weight. but it is right the person who said you have to cut out your calories to lose weight. but we all must have about 800 or more to not starve. a female can have as much as 1400 cal a day without getting fat.



Well beef has a good amount of fat in it. Chicken is a lean meat justdont eat it fried or breaded. Even if you become a vegetarian or something don't eat junkfood you won't lose fat only gain it



Cutting out meat cuts out lots of fats and calories, but also nutrients. As long as you get protein (by supplements, peanut butter, etc.) As long as you get the nutrient s your missing it should help you lose weight



Nope- cutting out CALORIES makes you lose weight. You can have a diet of Snicker Bars and if you eat less than you burn, you are going to lose weight. You won't be too healthy though. lol



It does as long you're not replacing the meat with extra dairy and processed fake meats and too many simple carbohydrates.
