Will losing 25 pounds at 43 years old cause sagging skin?!

Question: Will losing 25 pounds at 43 years old cause sagging skin?
I need to lose at least 25 pounds for I'm 5 foot 4 and 186 pounds. I'm a medium build female. But I have to admit I'm a little afraid I'll have sagging skin on my face. I don't have a very heavy face to begin with considering I'm about 50 pounds overweight according to my doc. She said a good weight for me would be 135. But when I look it up on the internet they say ideal weight for my age height and gender is between 111 and 146 so I figure I could lose 40 pounds and be ok. But I figure I'll try 25 to start. What do you think do you think it will make me look older and make my face sag?

Answers:

As long as you don't lose it super quickly you should be fine. However when it comes to weight, you should listen to what your doctor says and suggests. The numbers given on the internet are generalizations for a large group of people, the number given by your doctor is more specified to you. So go ahead and go for it, just do it within a reasonable time frame. Most doctors suggest that you should lose no more than 2 pounds per week.

Good luck!

I don't think so. I lost 86lbs about 7 years ago and I was 46 years old. I didn't have any sagging skin but I also did weight training....
