Is it a bad idea to workout twice a day for 6 days a week?!


Question: Is it a bad idea to workout twice a day for 6 days a week?
I have been doing 2, 30 minute cardio sessions for the past four days. I can feel my muscles getting a little tired, but I was wondering if it is not a good idea to do this for 6 days straight should I take a one day break?

yea you can take a break but you dont have to. you can work out as much as youd like. sometimes i would work out for 2 or more hours in one day a few times a week. and that was if i went to the gym. if i stayed home id work out there so you can keep that up. cardio is great and you probably just feel weak because you arent used to it so much. your body will adjust



I also workout an hour a day and feel my muscles getting tired. I do 2 days of training, then take a rest day. Then do 3 days of training - rest day, and so on. That way your body can recover from the tough workouts. It just depends on how you feel. If you feel tired and worn out, take a break. Have a hot bath on that day, rub and massage the muscles that hurt and just do some light activity, like walking.

if your intension is to burn fat quick.. then u can keep trying this.. as long as u have good nutrition bewteen it..

but u you would probably be better off to do 45 mins at one shot...

dont forget u also have to do some weight training for atleast 30-40 mins

It really depends on how your body reacts. If you get tired, then take at least 2 days rest, but I think you shoudl be okay with 2, 30 minute cardio sessions and try swimming, cycling and running.



No, it's not a bad idea. I work out for an hour a day, 7 days a week, and I feel - and look - great.
