From a dietary standpoint, that means limiting your sugar + net carb intake to lower levels than most people will accept and adhere to long-term (less than 150g a day, less than 100g if you are really serious..and the overwhelming bulk of those should be coming from LOT OF VEGGIES, beans and raw/dry-roasted type nuts/nut-butters, NOT much-higher-carb grain/cereal/flour type foods).
Most of the sugar/carbs people are eating in abundance daily, should be healthy, natural fat (even saturated like EGGS) foods instead, because those types of fats are very healthy for us and our body needs more of those than anything else we consume daily (even protein). Our bodies, from a dietary standpoint, can't store fat or block fat being used as our primary energy/sustenance, unless you are eating excessive sugars and net carbs throughout the day.
With regard to losing fat in specific areas, genetics are an unforgiving mistress, and some people will find it extremely difficult (if not impossible) to lose weight uniformly over their entire body.
Worthless I am afraid. Bad news not only do diet pills not work, but so called dieters like you who try for the quick fix have a 2 in 3 chance of ending up heavier in the long term!

In a word - NO - if it were that simple we'd all be skinny. As for losing 10lbs in one week, that's way too much, any weight lost at the rate of more than 1-2lbs per week will pile on again very quickly once the diet stops.
Join a good slimming club, get motivated, change your eating habits and add a little exercise. There's no overnight answer unfortuntely, it will take time but keep at it.
Cinnamon has been shown to lower blood glucose levels & insulin in type 2 diabetics & insulin resistant people, which may contribute to some weight loss but it's impossible to lose 10# in one week, no matter what the method.
