How much cardio warm up should one do to avoid pulling a muscle during the main !
Question: How much cardio warm up should one do to avoid pulling a muscle during the main work out?
Answers:
You could do 5 minutes actually
Recent studies have shown that the idea of warming up to avoid muscle strain is a fallacy - especially cardio-based warm ups which really only warm up your heart.
That said, stretching and flexibility training are both beneficial and should be included somewhere in your work out.
Hi Patience. That's a tricky question cuz everyone's body is different. I usually warm up around 10-15 mins but I recommend you checking out this site that helped me maximize and also stay safe during my workouts. It's www.realsixpack.com. Good luck with your training!
Try a half mile on an oliptical or treadmill or bike then stretch the muscle youre working out

Anybody that can help me out by taking this survey would be great. Need more responses for my college research
before opening this question i was gonna say 10 mins:)
but even 5 mins is enough. it doesn't take long for your body to warm up and realize that it's time to workout
