Jumping jacks are mainly used as a warm up to other exercises. It could be defined as a Dynamic Stretch that loosens the limbs and gets the cardio and aerobic systems flowing. Depending on the length of time executing the exercise, you might work the muscles in the lower calves and shoulders.
Jumping jacks work the legs, but also, since its an aerobic excersize, it also works the heart.
I think Thighs; because once i did 70 jumping jacks and my thighs were hurting!. So i think thats a sign i was building muscles in my thighs.[=
