No progress in the past 2 weeks.. why? :(?!

Question: No progress in the past 2 weeks.. why? :(?
On Jan. 1st I began a mission to loose 45 lbs. I was steadily loosing weight each week, then 2 weeks ago it just stopped, 3 lbs shy of my half-way point. I am so discouraged. A week ago when I saw no progress at weight-in i cut my calories down to 1200/day and oomphed up my workouts. But again today at weight-in/measurment time still no progress, to the ounce.

What am I doing wrong?? Why would it just stop? I'm still 20 lbs over my max healthy weight for my height. I just don't get it.

If only all of the weight came off like the first few pounds! First off, don't fret; you've simply reached a plateau, which every person working to lose weight will experience at some point. This is where a lot of people lose motivation and quit, so pat yourself on the back for keeping with it even when you don't "see" the results you want each week. Secondly, you need to consider your fat to muscle ratio because muscle weighs more than fat. When you first start exercising and dieting, fat comes off easily. However, over time your muscles will grow and begin to weigh more. This is a good thing, because it means you're healthier AND it increases your basal metabolism, but it can change the number on the scale. The key is to keep going- the more muscle you have, the more fat you will burn even when you are just sitting around. Eventually you will start to see even more fat loss, which will more than make up for the muscle-weight gain. In the mean time, have you tried switching up your workouts? The body gets used to the same routine and doesn't require as much energy to perform as it used to; switching up your routine each week will help keep your body guessing, allowing you to burn the most calories possible. Hang in there!! :0)

well sorry to tell you but this is good and bad see your body is getting use to your diet and your workout i build and i take Mass gainer
but for dieters and to lose pounds i would Take whey protein and mix it with some 1 percent milk water or skim milk this is should cost you 14 dollars at least and come in a big container cause its powder form make sure you get the powder form this should add protein and good calories don't take away to many calories or your body will make fat from not having not enough calories i would recommend 1 scoop with the whey protein you can find it at your local Walmart follow directions for use
happy dieting

i use to take this stuff then switched to mass gainer for muscle build

Loosing weight is a process, some weeks you can not loose a pound but the effects inside the body from healthy eating and exercises will all still be taking place, keep going and i wish you luck!

I go the gym alot and know these things

keep on exercise and do more exercise then before on daily basis. After some time weight will reduce as before.
