does weight training make you hyper crazy?!


Question: Does weight training make you hyper crazy?
im not sure if ive pinned it down to weight training or the protein stuff that he drinks but my husband goes mental on a regular basis. . he struts around the house punching air. he argues very loudly with the tv. he shouts at the news. he argues with the news readers. he quarrels with the weather forcasters a slice of bread will be screamed at or the kitchen tap. whatever. fortunately i have a bolt hole but i can still hear him. it wears off after an hour ish, im not shouted at. just tv etc its weird. any help here would be much appreciated

Answers:

It could be that when he is weight training his testosterone levels increase. This could make him more boisterous. Another reason is that when you lift weights, your blood pumps round your body and into your muscles making you feel more 'alive' and energetic.

I would guess that it is a combination of these two things.

(If he uses steroids then this may also have an effect on his mood swings)



The only way it has to do with weight lifting, is if he's juicing ( using steroids) otherwise punching the air, and arguing with the t.v. are known side effects of working out or protein shakes. Or he's just flipping and it's a coincidence that he's working out
