Question: Im like 20 pounds overweight and 14 years old... how can i slim down fast?
I wanna look good on summer... and some class mates say im handsome but they also say i would look better if i slim down.. HElp please! im currently lifting 15 lb dumbbells (weights) and doing 50 abs a day.

I've lost 24lbs in month so far, by just simply counting my calories, running for at 45min daily and lifting/situps a day. I was about 20lbs over weight myself and read up on what my calorie intake should be for someone my age (im 20) and went from there.

Whats been working for me is: Intaking no more than 1700 calories daily, jogging/walking at least 2-3 miles in 45min, 50-75 situps, as many push ups as i can do, 5 sets of 10 of 20lb dumbell curls and 10 sets of 10 on bench; all daily. With the weights/situps/pushups, i add an extra set every 5 days. I also try to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day and try not to eat after 10, and make sure i get a full night's sleep.

So far, its been working fine for me, as i've only been do this routine for a month now, and have gone from 201 to 177. I'm also starting to get better definition in my upper body,abs and arms.

It's not healthy to be losing more than 1 lb per week or else your skin won't be able to adjust and you will have saggy skin. An improvement to your health that you can make is to snack healthy. This is not going to help you slim down fast but it will make you healthier and make you feel better. Next time your bored and you walk over to the fridge, instead of grabbing a sausage or something, eat some fruits or something else that is really healthy!



Quit eating junk food and keep up with the weights...and remember...THERE IS NO SHORTCUT TO HEALTH, NO MATTER WHAT IDIOTS AND ADS SAY. So don't go for crash diets or buy shitty supplements.

And whatever you do, don't stop eating...some people try to lose weight by starving, but they are stupid.. Make sure your stomach is filled. Eating is a GOOD thing, as long as the food is not crap. Eat, eat, eat. Eat more meals a day. Eat more food. You will build muscle surprisingly fast, and as you are exercising it will not be converted to fat. (Don't get freaked out if you gain weight this way, as muscle weighs 5 times as much as fat)

Also, put some cardio into your workout. Do weights every other day and run on the days you don't lift. Cardio is good for burning fat.

Rule of thumb: Nature's way is best. Do the natural thing. Don't go for gimmicks or weird techniques.

Working out for over 2 years and enjoying the rewards of good health.



Do cardio work-out at least 20.min a day swim, run, play some sport have fun doing it. Just keep in mind that losing weight fast it's unhealthy.
