I'm afraid I might have anorexia?!

Question: I'm afraid I might have anorexia?
I have avoided eating as much as possible for the last few days. I have consumed around 100 calories or less per day

Now here's where things get strange: I'm not hungry anymore. I feel just... Normal. Kind of like being full without the feeling in your stomach. I just feel satisfied, like I've had a lot to eat.

Weighed myself, lost some weight.

Is this normal?

Answers:

It's normal to lose the sense of hunger after a period of fasting. I'm assuming you aren't doing this for the health benefits of fasting or because you are sick, so it may be best to do some body-image and self-esteem damage control.
There are plenty of ways to start-- talking with a counselor, parent or close friend, journaling, or doing your own digging to find out why you are feeling so low. Focus on the positive qualities you have, what kind of person you want to be, and what kind of life you want for yourself. Remember that you are more than your appearance. Treat yourself like you would a friend, and be kind to your body. Nourish it with wholesome, natural foods and exercise daily. Be sure to make the time to do the things you love. Your happiness comes first.

Eventually if you don't eat normally your body won't crave food as often.
Try and eat more even if you're not hungry to help.

No.. Get treatment before it's too late. You don't want to destroy yourself.
