Question: Is it healthy to go one whole day a week without eating absolutely anything and only drinking water?
This very thin girl i know says that is what she does to stay thin

You won't feel very good. I have tried this and I felt terrible. It sounds like this girl has anorexia and that is why she is very thin.



I've done a water fast before, and I did it for 2 weeks. I know people who have done it for a lot longer. I did it for detox purposes (and also for religious reasons) but water fasting does not harm you, only if you do it for longer than necessary. Google water fasting and read about it. However, I don't think that it is healthy to water fast to get thin, because that is usually the sign of an underlying eating disorder.

you can eat how much you like if you stay within these 3 guidelines and still lose fat naturally and gradually. You should lose 10lbs each month on average.

1.eat only steamed lean meats, eggs, healthy fruits ,vegetables, nuts, grains, & yogurt..2. drink only water, juice, & milk..3. walk or do some physical exercise 1-3 hour every day.


(btw, recommend you also to buy an electronic food steamer ((Very cheap)) and a rice cooker as makes it very easy to prepare healthy meals ,,add a bit of olive oil and pepper, spices on top of steamed vegeatables, fish or chicken to add more taste if wish as these are healthy too.)



Nope you will pass out that thin very thin girl is very stupid and she's probably passing out on oxygen too. Maybe that's why she thinks its fun to tell you things but now I'm thinking your stupid for not having common sense to know its not healthy. Would you feed your baby water for a week just so it wasn't chubby ??



She's already very thin - and she's doing it to stay artificially thin. I bet you if she put on a bit of weight she'd still look as good.

No, it's not healthy. If you did that you would throw your system into meltdown and will store up trouble for later in life.



No, this is a terrible thing to do. It will leave you malnourished and your body will think it is starving - which it is. After doing this your body may hang onto food you eat in case you 'starve' again. This is not good for your body.
