Not losing any weight? When do you start.?!

Question: Not losing any weight? When do you start.?
I've been going to the gym three days a week and have been eating healthy everyday for about two weeks, and i just seem to gain weight. I know your suppose to gain muscle when you work out but when do you start losing actual weight?

Answers:

Its just that some people lose weight slower then others...it may seem to be annoying but don't give up or anything because you'll soon see results...
It takes about a month for some people to start actually noticing a difference
Also make sure your not eating too less because this can cause problems
If you dont lose any weight in a maximum of like 2 months, i would suggest you to visit a GP because you might have a thyroid problem
Ooo and dancing (zumba) is brilliant for weight loss

Good luck chick, hope you get to your ideal weight soon..
xx

you can eat how much you like if you stay within these 3 guidelines and still lose fat naturally and gradually. You should lose 10lbs each month on average.

1.eat only steamed lean meats, eggs, healthy fruits ,vegetables, nuts, grains, & yogurt..2. drink only water, juice, & milk..3. walk or do some physical exercise 1-3 hour every day.

(btw, recommend you also to buy an electronic food steamer ((Very cheap)) and a rice cooker as makes it very easy to prepare healthy meals ,,add a bit of olive oil and pepper, spices on top of steamed vegeatables, fish or chicken to add more taste if wish as these are healthy too.)

hi ashlyn....
going to a gym does not reduce weight.....
it only burns out the fat and reduces fat content in your body....
whatever weight you lose in fat is compensated by muscles....

if you're looking for a toned body continue with the gym......
if not.... and if you're looking for only weight loss and size zero.....
try aerobics ......
or if you wanna balance everything...
do yoga on the days you are not gymming......

data collection is important... calorie intake vs output. you are probably eating more, the mind plays tricks on you to compensate for weight loss.
