Is it bad for your heart to lose weight quickly?!

Question: Is it bad for your heart to lose weight quickly?
Pretty simple question. Note that I have an extremely healthy diet, as I am vegan. But hypothetically, if I was to lose weight at a fast rate, would it do a number on my heart? Don't talk about healthy weight loss techniques, etc, just stick to the question please. Thanks for your help.

Answers:

depends how u lose the weight... if u lose it by doing lots of cardio or other exercise then it is very good for your heart.. however if u lose it by taking supplements for fat loss it can definately harm ur heart.. and changing ur diet can only help ur heart

It's not the weight that's bad for your heart, it's what you will do to lose the weight that can take a toll on your heart if you lose it too fast. Make sure you train properly if you plan on doing a crazy workout regiment to lose the weight, work up to it. And if you plan on diet pills, high amounts of caffeine is bad for your heart and is bad for bone density, so keep that in mind and you should be fine, good luck =]

Never try to lose weight quickly as it will damage the body as well as heart.
May cause low BP.
Simple analogy. If you run fast for a long time you will feel tired and heart will beat fast. Likely to damage heart. always go slowly please. Slow and steady wins the race.
OK.
