Question: Analyse what I have eaten today please.?
I'm 22 and a healthy weight but I wish to make good food choices adn loose about 5lbs slowly over time. maybe some of you could give me some advice.
I have given what I estimate the calories to be if im off pleas say so

Here is what I ate yesterday:

Breakfast scone and tea. 400 Cals

Lunch Coffee 150 cals
Cereal bar 88 cals
Velvet crunch 83 cals

Snack 5 peices of pasta and a bit of bread 100 cals

Dinner: Lasange 600
Coleslaw and sweet corn 150

Dessert: two spoons of cake 150 cals

And Here is what Ihave eaten today


Breakfast two thin slices of brown bread and marmalade 250 cals
Snack ceral bar 88 cals
apple 55 cals

Lunch Scone 400 cals

Dinner
Stake 250 cals
Mash 150
Veg 70

Dessert
Hot chock 80 cals
snackajack 50

Answers:

Just addressing the food choices vs the calorie count. It looks to me like you're low in protein. Try adding a couple eggs to breakfast. Add a snack between breakfast and lunch. Something small like almonds/walnuts and a greek yogurt or fruit. Add nuts though, great source of protein.

Basically that's one I'm seeing is add the protein, veggies, fruit. Be a label reader when it comes to the breakfast bars. You'd be surprised at just how worthless most of them are.



400+150=550+88=638+83=721+100=821+600=14… 1721 calories

250+88=338+55=393+400=793+250=1043+150… calories

You are normaly suppose to have 1800 calories a day (if you are female) so you are eating around the healthy calorie range

your doing excellent, but you might want to cut down on the carbohydrates a little. Remember protein is your best friend.



Try NOT to eat a scone everyday, as there quite dense and heavy like bagels are.
