If I don't like veggies, is it possible to still have a good diet?!

Question: If I don't like veggies, is it possible to still have a good diet?
I'm currently on a 2000 calorie a day diet, I'm not really too fond of most vegetables/greens in everyday meals, so for the most part I avoid them unless they're cooked into the foods I'm eating, such as spaghetti sauce.

My question is, is it possible to still be on a good diet if I choose to not intake as many veggies as I should? I'm currently taking a 200% Recommended daily dose vitamin/mineral tablet, and here is one of meals that I had a couple days ago, as I've been writing what I've been eating down:

This is my entire day from wake to sleep:
Imitation crab meat x4 pieces = 180 calories
Subway sandwich 6" = 600 calories
Coffee (Lite creamer) = 50 calories
Subway sandwich 6" = 600 calories
Rice cake x2 = 100 calories
Chips = 200
Piece of chicken = 350

Total calories = 2080

Answers:

Yeah, you can definitely lead a healthy life without eating so many vegetables. Keep in mind I said, "so many"! I never said to completely exclude them from your diet!

Your current diet, though, isn't really good for your body. A common misconception is that if you eat a 2000 calorie diet, you're not damaging your body in any way.

However, you have to see beyond the calorie consumption. First of all, Subway sandwiches can filled with sodium and cholesterol, both of which are fine in moderation, but can be long term extremely damaging to your body.

Also, it's not healthy to not eat vegetables. Okay, if you eat the right foods that have the essentials vegetables contain, you can possibly get by. It's still not good for you though, because you don't want to get all of your vitamins and minerals from breakfast cereals and pills. Why? Simply because even though they perform the same function as the vitamins in vegetables, it's basically chemical based which fills your body with unwanted toxins. And no, they're not deadly, they're just nowhere near healthy.

Yes, you definitely need vegetables. By this, I don't mean to only eat this. The secret is to eat vegetables in small portions. If you can't down cabbage alone, make a salad with vinegar and olive oil with salt and nuts. It's surprisingly good and satisfying after you get used to it. You don't need to eat tons of vegetables to have a healthy diet. In fact, Subway sandwiches contain vegetables, it's just that they're outweighed with the greasy dressings and fatty chips.

Hope I helped :D
