I do get alot of work out time in, usually lifting weights and running at school and it gas helped a little bit but any extra tips

Take a look at what you eat, try to cut back on portions and try to eat lots of vegetables and lean proteins. Instead of 2 or 3 big meals a day try 5 or 6 SMALL meals and healthy snacks. By cutting out sugar and carbs you'll lose lbs. pretty quickly.
