Answers:

Congrats on the baby! But as for your diet, I would recommend jogging more than anything. It's something that's not easily able to be accustomed to, but is one of the most rewarding things I've done for myself. It also is safe to do during pregnancy so if you get into the habit and have another pregnancy later on it will be fine to do.

With hypertension, you could always be safe and ask your physician what would be the safest for you to do in terms of exercising but I would still recommend jogging in that it's something that can just take 15 minutes of your day that can signifcantly contribute to weight loss.

Also, since you don't want to initially run daily, have days where you can just walk around the neighborhood and that will be a good way to get your daughter to enjoy some fresh air every once in awhile.

Just keep in mind that diet is just as integral as the exercise is and I'd recommend eating six smaller, healthy meals per day rather than three bulky meals that allow for time in between to be hungry simply because it will keep your metabolism as high as possible which is crucial for weight loss.

Try to cut out fried and fatty foods gradually and understand that processed foods are filled with preservatives that elongate shelf life, but shorten human life. Also, the number one thing to cut out of your diet is soda - it's carbonated which will deoxygenate your blood which you need as much as you can while exercising and filled with ungodly amounts of sugar.

You're going to have to understand that losing weight is a process that takes a pretty remarkable amount of time. Many people go out thinking that if they assign their daily lives specific schedules with certain workouts without exception that their weight loss will inevitably be granted to them.

As a person who has been losing weight for quite some time now, I can tell you that's not how it works.

There are going to be times when you are exhausted and don't want to move a single inch of your body, you're going to get sick and become a whole week behind schedule, you're going to go out to eat with your friends and not eat the healthiest thing on the menu, and you're going to have setbacks as you progress - but your measure of success is not being inhibited by these setbacks, but your motivation to overcome them once they've stopped you in your tracks.

However, there are going to be days in which you do progress further and further and every minute of struggling you've spent will be well worth the fight.

Jogging is a great hobby and I hope this helps you in one way or another.

Best of luck, and you'll get there.
