Is it bad to work out every day?!

Question: Is it bad to work out every day?
I'm going from almost sedentary to moderately active. I probably walk about 1/2 a mile at a moderately brisk pace every day across campus and up and down several flights of stairs. I can barely do 3 push ups (standard form, not on my knees), and my core isn't great. I plan to work out every day except Thursday, because I'm at school until 10PM on Thursdays.

I would be rotating cardio, upper body, and lower body workouts until I get used to it, and then I plan on doing them all 6 days a week. Is that too much?

Answers:

Six days a week is fine, but I usually switch off between upper body and lower body, three days a week each, and do cardio with them. Your body needs time to recover so if you're breaking down muscle by lifting anything then give it a day between working those specific muscles

It's all right as long as you don't push yourself when you know you're already at your limit.
Though, actually do push yourself, but don't go too far.

School till 10 pm? The helllll

Working out every day would make it harder and will cause a lot of strain, I would recommend about 2-3 times week.

Sometimes your muscles need a break :) work out every other day<3

...no it is not bad to work out every day!
just start out with less intense workouts and build them up! :)

Of course not. Just make sure you're eating.
