When is the best time of day to workout?!

Question: When is the best time of day to workout?
I heard the morning was the best time to workout because you'd be burning "pure fat." But would i eat something small before i workout? Or workout on an empty stomach? What do you think the best time to workout is?

Answers:

Morning because you continue to burn calories after exercise - but thats provided you do a full work out. If you are just doing a few stretches it wont make much difference what time of day.

what i would say is best is this

1. do aerobic exercise first thing in the morning before any food
2. eat breakfast containing some protein and almost all your daily carb intake (i prefer red lentils)
3. dinner is mostly protein
4. workout before tea aerobic/anaerobic depends what you want
5. tea is mostly protein
6. now by the time you sleep its been a long time since youve had any carbs and youve burnt most of the ones from breakfast off.
7. the next morning you will be doing your aerobic exercise the maximum amount of time away from eating carbs so you should burn off maximum fat

The best time of say to work out is in the evening, like when you would be getting back from school if you were still in it. That is when your body is on a roll from all day, in the morning you are just tired and you are going to over-work yourself too much and you will be sore and tired all day!

I like to do it when the air is fresh outside...considering where i live is smoggy so eith in the morning or evening/night itm

There is no truth or science behind this 'do it in the morning' stuff. The best time to work out is whenever you can. Do what is fun and makes you happy, forget the rest.
