Question: People say I'm not fat but idk if I am I want to lose weight should I not eat?
Ok I think I'm fat but everybody says that I'm like a toothpick I don't think I am but how can I lose weight should I stop eating or something?

i did the same thing you are doing now when I was young.
I was an average weight, and starved myself to become thinner

the only thing I lost was my mind, I became weak and ugly
not to mention all the relationships I ruined because of it.

if you feel you need to starve yourself to lose weight, you may end up with an eating disorder which may end up taking your life

I am in no way trying to be mean..I dont want you to do this. This messed up world of ours doesnt need another teen statistic.

Not eating will actually cause you to harm your health. Your body requires a certain level of nutrition to function properly. There is a certain number of calories your body requires every day. This amount is different for different people, depending on your metabolism and other factors.

If you eat less than this amount of calories every day several things will happen. First, your metabolism will slow down so it will become even harder to lose weight. Second, your body will go into starvation mode. When this happens your body will convert everything you eat to sugar and store it as fat. This will make it even harder to lose weight. Also, once this happens your body will remember it, so later on in life when you want to lose weight it will be more difficult.

Also, once fat cells are formed they never go away. Even if you lose weight, the fat cells are not eliminated, they just get smaller. This means later on, if you start eating normally again, your body will fill up those fat cells quickly.

So, the best thing to do is to eat a healthy, balanced diet of sufficient calories to maintain your body in a healthy state. Also, get plenty of exercise to build lean muscle. This will help you to lose weight because muscles burns more calories than fat.

People do that to me too. I lose weight really fast. I eat once a day. I do not have sugar, soda, or sweets and I try to avoid carbs like the plague. If I do HAVE to eat bread I eat one slice and make sure it is wheat. I don't drink diet sodas and I add lots of spicy peppers and hot sauce in my foods, because they help you lose weight. Also, drink lots of ice cold water. Your body burns calories heating it to body temperature.

Don't stop eating! If you want to lose weight or stay in shape, just exercise 3 or more times a week and eat sensibly: don't go on a diet, just eat in moderation and you'll be fine. Also, cutting out soda and coffee would be good choices unless its diet or decaf- it would cut calories. Good luck!
