I'm going to try this question out again -- Ten points!?!

Question: I'm going to try this question out again -- Ten points!?
Alright, so I'm trying to lose weight from now up until August-September. I'm 5"2 and 170 pounds. Trust me, I know I'm a bit over weight. I have started since two weeks ago, eating healthy and working out. I'm also only drinking water, or juices with out sugar. But, mostly just water. That's all i'm into now that i've been drinking it so much. I try to do Jillian Michael's work out every three to four days, and if not that I do walk/jog every single day. I do have P90 in which i'm about to start doing, I did it for the first time the other day, and I LOVED it. Def. was an amazing work out. So, i'm wondering...what else can I do in order to lose as much weight as possible. What is a good goal to set? Should I go by weeks, or months? Please, I need all the help I can get. I'm not that big of a girl though. I just have a bit of a belly that I need NEED to get rid of, and please leave rude comments out. Thanks a bunch! :)

Ok...most effective way to lose weight:

-low carb diet

-Avoid all deep fried/greasy foods

-Avoid red meat (beef); chicken breast and fish is the best alternative

-Avoid all dairy products that contain a lot of fat

-avoid junk food (chips, candy)

-AVOID SODA POP (there are so many calories in the non-diet sodas)

- Dont over eat; eat till you are confterable and eat slowly! (theoretically, by eating slowly you will know when you are at the "confterable" stage before you over eat)

I know this kind of diet is very difficult to keep up, and its difficult to find food that follow this kind of diet. so eat the food that follows this diet, and for the nutrients that you are lacking you should make up for by drinking meal replacement shakes (or however they call them). they provide you with all your needed nutrients. Just make sure you dont buy one tht has a lot of fat content, or one tht has a lot of calories.

as for training...
weightlifting isnt very useful to lose weight...but consistent (everyday) cardio activities are. belly fat is called visceral fat. this kind of fat will only go away thru cardio excersises. you can have visceral fat and do a million situps, but if your heart rate isnt working your visceral fat aint going away. The best cardio activity I would say is swimming laps, (goal:) 30 laps a day. front crawl technique is absolutely the best swimming technique to get your heart pumping (you could also alternate with breast strokes, cuz 100% front crawl is tough). swimming gets you lean, and toned. if you have access to a pool, this is your best option for excersise.

The second best to swimming, would be running. this is not as good since the rate at which calories are burnt is a lot slower.

A great activity that will really help you get into shape is wrestling (not wwe stuff). Ive played hockey, soccer, baseball, all of them at competitive levels and their damand for muscle endurance, strength and cardio compared nothing to wreslting. when I began to wrestle I was really scrony and small. im not like that at all now :D

for diets and traing routines to actually work it requires 100% consistency. if you follow rthis diet and training routine, it will definatly put you into great shape within 3 months!

A good goal would have to be keeping a consistent healty diet, and training routine. This is the most difficult part, but I know that anyone could get into great shape if they followed this diet and trainign routine!

GOOD LUCK!

A good goal would be to lose 50 pounds.and try to lose about 2 pounds a week

u can think positive whem u work out and.have fun with it so u dont get bored or tired of it also eat less processes foods and eat small meals throughout the day!!
10 points??

Hi there!
hopefully I can help you a little.

- Eat regularly: set yourself a meal plan that includes a healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner based around wholegrains, lean protein and salad/vegetables, then include 2-3 x 100calorie snacks to keep your metabolism going. options include 1 serve fruit, 1/2 cup low fat yoghurt, 10 almonds, 1 cup popcorn/pretzels, lite spreadable cheese on 2 crackers, vegetable sticks with extra light dip etc.

- Fluids: stay away from all juice as even if it says no added sugar it will still have about 100calories per small glass. water is the best fluid really.

you seem to be on the right track with exercise so keep going and you wil see results soon enough!
