Question: Do you get exercise from skiing?
im trying to lose weight and spend time outdoors...so does skiing help you get exercise?
Answers:
Yes it definately does. skiing works all of your leg muscles, your core (stomach) and also balance but mainly lower body workouts. if burns calories probably similar to playing a game of doubles tennis. It is only available in winter though and any exercise is best done regularly so try to do it 2-3 times a week in winter then choose an outdoor summer sport in summer.
