How do I lose 8 pounds in one week?!

Question: How do I lose 8 pounds in one week?
Should I cut my meal down? Exercise for an hour or two?

Answers:

Don't be an idiot. Do some minimum research. Losing 8 pounds in a week is impossible unless you're like 350 pounds. Say you are 5'5 and 150 pounds; you would need about 1800 calories a day to maintain your weight if you do minumum movement throughout the day.
3500 calories = 1 pound
so you want to lose 8 pounds? that's 28,000 calories you gotta burn, in a week. If you are doing moderate/intense activity for 2 hours a day that will be about 1200 calories burned. So lets say you eat nothing in a day, instead of 1800. you will burn 1800 calories just by not eating them. then add that 1200 onto it. thats 3000 calories in a day. Do that everyday for a week? Thats only 21,000 calories. To lose 8 pounds in a week, you're going to have to eat absolutly nothing and then work out for 3 hours a day at high intensity. Possible? NO. the reason larger people burn more calories is because it takes more calories to move the extra weight. just like you would burn more calories running with a 10 pound weight. Want some real advice? start living a healthy lifestyle, and dont wait the week before an event to do it.

Do plenty of cardio and aerobic exercises like step aerobics, skip rope, jogging and running, cycling, etc. Like, 1-2 hours daily.
