What are some healthy tips for a breastfeeding mother trying to lose weight?!

Question: What are some healthy tips for a breastfeeding mother trying to lose weight?
I became a mother 13 months ago, and due to bad eating habits and adopting a more sedentary lifestyle, I have not yet gone back to my pre-pregnancy weight....actually, I've gained weight.

I can't fit any of my clothes, and even though my husband loves me the same I feel less confident in the bedroom, I want my sexy back!!

Please don't say not to worry about losing weight while I'm breastfeeding, I've done it for a year and will continue as long as I can but I now have to lose weight in addition!
I need to lose about 45 pounds

Answers:

1. Eat right. Forgo the sugary, simple carb stuff and opt for the natural fruits, veggies, lean meats, and whole grains.
2. Drink a lot of water. I know, I never believed it before I lost 50 pounds. But drinking water actually does help shed the pounds.
3. Exercise. Take the baby in a stroller and walk a mile or so a day. You can also do some floor exercises at home like crunches, push up, stability ball exercises (the baby will love it), etc.
4. Avoid snacking with baby. Do not taste the snacks or lick your fingers. Those calories add up over time.

If you want something you both can eat, there is a tasty recipe for Greek yogurt with berries here (might want to not use Splenda or maybe use Agave syrup for baby's yogurt - also puree the berries for baby an omit cereal).http://weightlossmomma.com/weight-loss-r…

Good luck. Keep you eye on the goal and you can succeed.

PS: Find a picture of someone you want to look like and refer to it often. It helped me keep on track.
