Question: How many calories should i consume a day to help reduce belly fat?
i gained a lot of extra weight on my stomach and i am starting to eat less junk and work out right at home. how many calories should i consume a day so i wont get more fat?

1000-1500 is supposed to be a slimming diet amount



To have a healthy diet 2000 calories with proper excersice is the healthy standard. If you wanna crash diet knock it down to 1600 to see results more quickly. Make sure ur diet has enriched protein if you working out. Try to intake 70 grams of protein per day if your trying to get killer abs. Also do not forget about liquid calories, coffee, energy drinks, pop, etc. Those really add up thru-out the day! Good luck!!!



don't go under 1200 calories, I would say 1500 calories maybe a little bit more depending on your exercise. IMPORTANT not to go below these numbers because you will shut down your metablism. Your body is smart and will recognize and go into starvation mode, you will start to feel weaker at these points. With that said here is some great advice to lose weight by increasing your metablism; eat lean meats like chicken breast and tuna for every meal, you should have five small meals a day each having protein, eat only good carbs and limit carbs after lunch, good carbs are oatmeal and wheat bread, wholegrain pastas and things of this nature, but protein is still the most important, next up supplementing these things, lemon juice is known to detoxify your body and slightly rise your metablism, cold water, when you drink cold water your body has to warm it up which burns calories, and drink lots of water a day, the cold water will burn up to 75 extra calories a day and you will deacrease your metablism by 2 % by being dehydrated aka not enough water. The chemical Caspian or something like that in red peppers and spicy foods will increase your metablism because its an irratant, which is why it burns or is spicy, but still only eat it on healthy food like tuna don't think this will make the pizza any healtheir. Exercise of course , also look up interval training, can be very simple and it's suppose to be better than long cardio at the same speeds.
