Is it healthy to have a poo twice a day?!

Question: Is it healthy to have a poo twice a day?
Answers:

The healthy poo-range can be from three times a day, to once every three days.
A healthy stool will be a little thicker than 1-1.5" in diameter, and it will be a nice light clay color. It should be soft, but not runny, and you should not have to strain to get it out.

A healthy poop will fly out of your rear and should curl up in the bottom of the toilet like a little poo-snake.

An unhealthy poo, by contrast, can be pencil-thin, or hard and stiff. An unhealthy poo can be very dark brown or a very very light color. If you get diarrhea often, this is also unhealthy. You shouldn't need more than a minute or two at most to finish a good poo. You also shouldn't get anal tears ("anal fissures") when you poop. You should never have blood in your stool- this can be indicative of hemorrhoids or worse things.

I am pretty sure that green poops are alright sometimes because it is just your body turning over a lot of blood byproducts.

If you're pooping twice a day, that probably means you're getting plenty of water and fiber from eating. Good job! If you want to poo less, lay off the mini wheats! :)

I'm a pre-nursing student and feel that poop is a very good barometer of one's overall health.

Yes if you have a diet high in insoluble fibre like bran, rice, bread, and cereal. but don't think this is bad its good as it means you have a healthy digestive system and will have a lot of good bacteria and enzymes :)

Actually it is healthy. Doing it once a day or once every couple of days is not healthy and means you should change your diet.

Don't sweat it! Yes it's normal. Now don't expect out digestive system to be as fast as our other organs...Urinating 10 times a day is normal f you drink alot of water. :)

yh it is. even 3 times a day fine.

As long as the poo comes out from beneath.
