Is it okay to give chocolate Glucerna shakes to a 2 and 4 year old?!

Question: Is it okay to give chocolate Glucerna shakes to a 2 and 4 year old?
I had gestational diabetes and bad morning sickness, so I bought a six pack of chocolate Glucerna shakes to hold me over. But they tasted horrible and now they're just sitting in the fridge, and I also don't have GD anymore since having my baby. My 2 and 4 year old keep asking if they can drink them ever since I gave them a few sips back when I drank one.. Would it be ok if they had a whole one each(like the extra vitamins and such)? I don't normally give them sweets or juice, but they really want it and I am tired of it being in my fridge.

Answers:

Well, it should be ok, but not too much. The problem is however, if they like it, then they may want more. Thats bad. Make sure they DON'T want more. Just don't give them any if I were you. Give them some juice instead and just throw the shakes away.

EDIT: Yeah there is nothing harmful in the drink of course. However too much of anything is bad.

I would suggest you give them to a friend who wants them - the children are too young. Besides chocolate makes children hyperactive - I would avoid giving them any kind of chocolate.

I'm sure there are a lot of other healthy options you can give your children. The sooner you "get rid" of those packets the better - htey just want it because they see the packet.

No, too young. Also it would make them hyper. Just give 'em to a friend or chuck 'em. I hate wasting food, but sometimes it's what you need to do.

Good parents :)

Give them to the children, It's fine. They contain nothing that is BAD

No too young.
