Did I eat good today? What could I do to improve besides lack of meat?!


Question: Did I eat good today? What could I do to improve besides lack of meat?
Breakfast:
Kids oatmeal
Glass of skim milk

Lunch:
Peanut butter sandwich in whole grain bread
A blueberry muffin

Snack:
Rice crackers

Supper:
Shell pasta with cheese (mac & cheese)
Skim milk

Snack:
I will probably have some pineapple.

Answers:

Add some lean protein and seriously cut down on all the simple carbohydrates (Muffin, Bread, Pasta). You also need to add plenty of vegetables with much variety. The same goes for Fruit. Basically all you've eaten is starch today, aside from the peanut butter, milk, and pineapple.

You should probably have some protein in the morning (Not too much. A couple sausages or an egg or two is good.) along with the Oatmeal.

Remember, that there are quite a few hours between when most people eat Dinner and Breakfast. That is why most people put a generous portion of meat on their Dinner Plate, and then have some meat or eggs in the morning.



Try less carbs - I noticed for all of your meals, it was mostly grains and breads. Try some more fruits and vegetables. Pineapple for snack is good, and the blueberries in that muffin might have not even been real blueberries; if it was made from a box or unwrapped from a package, they definitely weren't real blueberries. Also, instead of a blueberry muffin with your lunch, try some carrot sticks with low fat ranch. I always thought carrots were delicious and crunchy - yum! Plus, the carrot sticks can help clean your teeth after the meal. I hope this helped (:



i could recommend you amber, first of all, let me tell you if this is you on the pic, you are so beautiful, oh my god, an angel :)
Breakfast: oatmeal is good, try to balance that with some berries and granola, you need that for your day, about the skim milk, you need vitamin D, I would say, drink Whole milk instead, or at least some days during your week.
Lunch...mmm...eat a veggie sandwich, spread some coconut oil on your bread and add some spinach,tomatoes, etc.
If you feel like it, add some white meat, like cx or turkey.
for dinner, don't eat too much carbs, eat a salad or a sandwich, and skim milk, its ok i guess.
Pineapple, apple, anything natural and organic is good.
Keep yourself with that beautiful face :)



you really better rethink the protein loss. fish, chicken, something to fill that void; or you will suffer from malnutrition.



u probaly should not ate mac and cheese and skim milk is not really healthy for u
