Speed and muscle help please?!


Question: Speed and muscle help please?
I need to get faster at sprinting, and need some led muscle excercises to help accomplish that. Any ideas?

Ok well if you are looking to increase your sprinting speed for a 100 m sprint, then it would clearly be best to do weightlifting with your legs, arms and abdomen. You should use heavy weights, especially with your legs.

You could also try running (at a decent pace) u a hill. This will strengthen your muscles, increase your fitness and therefore improve your power.

Basically, you need to get in shape and strength train your legs. Other muscle groups are also important too!
