Quitting 2 very bad habits! 10 Points!?!

Question: Quitting 2 very bad habits! 10 Points!?
I drink too much alcohol during the week. I never get drunk but still its getting to the point where I can't deal with the stress of work without having alochol in my system. I've been drinking this way for about a month now (new habit) I also smoke cigarettes, lately I've been going through a pack every 4 days. 1 pack use to last me damn near a month! I want to quit both of these habits. Should I quit both at the same time or one at a time? Also what should I replace the habits with and about how long will I feel like crap? I know the reasons I drink and smoke is because I have really bad work anxiety. Can my doctor prescribe me something so I don't have to use alcohol?

Answers:

I'd say one at a time... it might make it a little easier on you. Try exercising. There are pills that you can take that make it if you drink ANY alcohol, you get violently ill. There's also always something like xanax, the anti anxiety drug. It helps me.

Yes You should quit both habits, at the same time, You are not really that far into both of them. I smoked a pack a day plus a bottle of wine a day, and it seemed no problem to quit both,
