How to lose 100 pounds?!

Question: How to lose 100 pounds?
So i've been hearing these things about like obesity an how 17-18 year olds are have strokes. Well my friend is 17 year old girl 5'4" and 220 pounds I mean she eats out McDonalds like every meal with like slim to no exercise. She agreed to go biking with me 10 miles a day on a stationary bikes at the gym so her daily intake is threw the roof if she exercises 5 days a week and eats 1,100 calories how fast will she lose? I know 1-2 ponds a week but being of that height-weight ratio could she lose more I just don't want her to get discourage again thanks! :)

BIcycling is an AWESOME way to lose weight. I've lost 50 pounds in 4 months by doing exactly what you said, except that I rode my bike outdoors, and I ate 1200-1300 calories daily! So if she will really ride those 10 miles, she'll lose weight rapidly.

But to keep it off, she really will need to learn to eat healthier. Most 17-year-olds don't want to mess with that (I didn't). The trick is not to stop going to McD's, but to learn what to eat there. Some things are far worse than others. Buy the book Eat This, Not That at any book store. It tells you what to eat at almost any restaurant you can name, and how many calories are in each menu item.

Good for you for wanting to help her! When she gets discouraged at 1-2 pounds a week, remind her that if that's "all" she loses, a year from now she'll be 100 pounds lighter!! Good luck.

She would really need to see a doctor before trying to lose that much weight. Going down to that low calories and that much exercise rapidly can cause more harm than good

Run till it's just no fun

patient is important to lose 100 pounds; that kind of weight loss would take some time, unless you obtain it surgically, by way of liposuction. As long as the amount of calories that use up in a given day, by means of various physical exertions, is greater than the calorie content of the food that to eat in that day, you will lose some weight. I would strongly recommend that she eat a healthy diet; fasting will only cause to fluctuate in weight, since it will eventually be overcome by hunger and will eat to excess after fasting. Plan a reasonable diet, with good nutrition and without excess carbohydrates or saturated fats, and plan a reasonable exercise program that can do every day, which could be as simple as going for a half hour walk, and stick to a program, day after day and week after week and month after month, and this will gradually lose weight, and in due course, she will lose 100 pounds.

you can eat how much you like if you stay within these 3 guidelines and still lose fat naturally and gradually. You should lose 10lbs each month on average.

1.eat only steamed lean meats, eggs, healthy fruits ,vegetables, nuts, grains, & yogurt..2. drink only water, juice, & milk..3. walk or do some physical exercise 1-3 hour every day.

(btw, recommend you also to buy an electronic food steamer ((Very cheap)) and a rice cooker as makes it very easy to prepare healthy meals ,,add a bit of olive oil and pepper, spices on top of steamed vegeatables, fish or chicken to add more taste if wish as these are healthy too.)
