Would it be good or bad?!


Question: Would it be good or bad?
i workout 4 days a week in the gym with weightlifting...
tuesdays-triceps, chest
thursdays-biceps, back
saturdays-shoulders, abdomenals
sundays-legs, lower back

will it be good or bad for my body to do a small workout for 25-45 minutes on those off-days..
if not, then in what other ways to fill those days with workouts?
if it helps, im 17 and about to turn 18...

Answers:

I think overall getting some light cardio in on those days off would be fine. That being said I think you are going to need at least one if not two days of rest per week.

Also I am not sure what your goals are with working out. Do you want to just look good, do you want to play a sport, do you want to lose fat, do you want to gain muscle?

All of those things play a role in what type of working out you should do. Additionally, unless you are looking to be a body builder or working out just for looks, i would consider doing more full body and explosive exercises.

The only thing you need on those off days is a lil cardio.
