If I eat 1,200 calories will I lose weight?!


Question: If I eat 1,200 calories will I lose weight?
I want to lose like, 10 pounds (right know I'm 120) if I eat 1,200 calories a day will i lose weight? Also I started doing 50 sit ups and 50 squats as exercise, will I lose weight?

Yes you will lose weight. It would be better to eat 1500-1600 and exercise a bit more though.

**Not your BMI, your BMR - basal metabolic rate. This is the amount of calories/energy your body uses to sustain life. Basically, it's the amount of calories your body burns daily if you were to do nothing at all.



Sounds like you will but probably slowly. 1200 calories is the minimum you want to eat and 120 is a low weight already. Please be careful.
