Well I'm not a physician but what I think has happened that you is the result of increased Carbohydrate intake. What you should do is stop consuming extra carbs. Carbs is the fuel for your body but if not used it can be stored as fat. Eat protein and eat fruits. Just make sure to keep a balanced diet instead of eating a lot of protein/carbs. Try to eat less but increase the no of times you eat. It will help your body to digest the food instead of it just being stored as fat and later being used as energy.
