To build lean muscle you need to eat lots or protein.
There are different types of protein supplements you can take, but there are to basic protein supplements. Whey isolates and whey concentrates, whey isolates are best for post workout shakes, whey concentrates are best for pre workout shakes.
Here is simple muscle building meal plan combined with protein supplements
Meal plan:
Breakfast:
? 1 bowl of oatmeal with sliced almonds (good source of carbohydrates for energy through the day)
? 1 banana
? Protein shake about 20-25 grams of whey concentrate
? Water about a half a liter( stay hydrated)
Snack:
? peanut butter sandwich
Lunch:
? 2 cans of tuna or broiled chicken breast ( source of protein contain about 24-30 gram of protein)
? Broccoli and corn
? Two slice of whole wheat bread (source of carbohydrates)
? 1 banana
Snack:
? Apple, strawberries or your favorite fruit
? Or a low fat yogurt
Dinner:
? 3 whole eggs cooked or egg whites with sliced turkey. (Source of protein)
? Two slices of whole wheat bread (source of carbohydrates)
? Green peas and carrots
Depending when you workout you should take your post work out drink 20-30 minutes after your workout about 25-30 grams of protein
Evening snack:
? Fruit or peanut butter
Also don’t over work yourself, if this is your first time doing physical activities and high intensity exercise daily I would skip out on the running at least for the first several weeks. Give your body time to adjust to the intensity and recover. Recovery is very important too, if you overwork your body your body will become stressed and exercise will not help you it will almost have the reverse affect.
