Question: Is p90x really worth buying for the price?

I have completed P90X and was very happy with my original transformation. Since then, over the past couple of years I've completed it a few more times. I don't need to lose weight anymore but I continue to do the program because I still enjoy it. The program owes me nothing and it's the best investment I've made in a long time.
Why it Works
The program is not about short cuts or secrets and Beachbody is very upfront about putting in the time and eating right. Where I feel P90X (and most of Beachbody's products) stands apart from the competition is how they take what's difficult for most people to figure out and do on their own, and put it all together in a well structured program. You simply play and follow along with the DVDs, and follow an easy to follow nutrition guide (either gives you guidelines, or exact recipes/meals). Plus Beachbody has a very good support community (I found this really helpful when going through the program, for the first time). Basically the program takes out all the guess work and guides you step by step.
Equipment
The bare minimum you need are resistance bands, but to get the most out of the program I'd recommend a pull up bar and dumbbells (preferably adjustable dumbbells).
I bought the actual P90X pull up bar a few years ago, but since then Iron Gym came out with the Iron Gym Extreme (more like the P90X bar than the regular Iron Gym). It's about $25 cheaper + free S&H.
As far as dumbbells go, I have Powerblocks and like them a lot. The Bowflex ones are also popular but I've read many negative reviews on them. I recently heard of Lifesmart dumbbells (but they only go to 55 lbs, so you may eventually out grow them. A yoga mat is also recommended.

How to pay less for shipping and unadvertised bonus workouts
If you do plan on ordering P90X, here's a money saving tip. Shop through Beachbody's team site (same company, same return policy, etc...). You will pay less shipping and your order will come with two additional bonus DVD workouts which you can not get if you order through the advertised 800# and website.
