I think you could lose a few pounds like your mom said...ONLY because for your age you are pretty heavy. And the sooner you try to lose weight, the better. You have a nice shape, just a little chubby. You are not ridiculously over weight though ..so you could definitely pull of a bikini!
I think it would look a little better if you did loose weight, but really, who cares what people think.
