why have i gained belly fat!?!


Question: Why have i gained belly fat!?
I've been eating healthy and exercising everyday. I've been eating 1400 calories a day. i ate a little more today (maybe 100 calories) so that is more than i anticipated, but not much. i sprinted 2 miles today and did some thigh workouts. i sweated. i just looked at my belly and it looks really big. like fat, big. i am almost 13 days late on my period. i am not pregnant and i have never had sex. so that is not a possibility. About last week i was really skinny and even my mom noticed. what is happening? i am 5'6 and 118 pounds.

Maybe you're bloated becasue your period is coming soon? Or did you eat a lot of a certain type of food? I have noticed that if I eat more carbs than usual (bread usually) by belly will get a lot bigger for the day...it's gross lol. So wait it out and see if it goes back to normal tomorrow. Have you ben having any digestive issues lately?

Also, if you've been doing ab workouts at all, that could be the issue. I know that if you don't breath properly when working out it can cause you to build your stomach muscles out rather than in, thats why its so important to breathe properly when exercising.

maybe you should rest, maybe stop drinking lots of liquids they inflat the stomach a lot.

You are bloated. It will go away by itself. A lot of women get that way every now and then.
