Please help me I'm so scared I won't be able to lose the weight I want!


Question: Please help me I'm so scared I won't be able to lose the weight I want by summer?
I've been counting calories since September to try and lose weight. I started off with 1,000 then upped it to 1,200. But I'm still the exact same weight I was. I really, really, really want to wear a bikini this summer, but I don't have the figure for it right now. I'm really scared that yet another summer will come and go and I'll be stuck in the same old one piece. I don't want to wear a bikini if I don't have the figure for it though, so I really really want the figure for it at least by June (here swimming season starts around May but it doesn't really matter what swimsuit you wear until June because that's when the pool parties and regular swimming start). I don't want to be a stick or anything, I don't even really want to be skinny. Well, I want to be but I don't need to be. I'd just like my belly to be a little flatter (it bulges slightly right now, I want it to look like it does when I've just woken up and haven't eaten yet.) and I'd like my thighs to be slimmer. Other than that I'm good with my body. So that means losing 5-10 pounds (5 as a minimum). I'm really, really scared I won't lose that weight before summer. I actually start to panic slightly thinking of still being chunky over the summer. What can I do??????? I set alarms on my cell phone saying 'Summer!!!' to help remind myself to diet. I'm trying to exercise more (I currently do almost all cardio, I'm starting some strength training because muscle burns calories just by being there) and I'm really trying to get off simple carbs. But it's never worked. I always end up breaking it far too much...like once a week. I want to cut my cheat days in half. Please help me!!!!! What do I do??? I'm hoping this will be enough motivation, but I really don't know. What works for you?

Work out more! It is very hard, have you tried talking to a personal trainer?



It sounds like you have the figure to look great in a bikini. A little belly bulge is really sexy. You're really worrying way too much. Just calm down, look at your body and tell yourself that you are sexy!
