Question: Is 5'5" and 150 lbs overweight for a female?
please explain

Answers:

This is slightly over weight. I would cut out the carbs and get some excersize into your daily routine to try and lose maybe 20#s.

life

It's right on the edge(BMI-wise), thing is though, BMI is an old census tool, so it doesn't take a lot of factors in to consideration(like build, muscle, bone-density, those kind of things), so you could be just fine, even outside of the BMI ranges.

Because it's a very limited way of determining the right weight.

So you don't have to be overweight at all.

Healthy not overweight. It dipends also on your body frame shoulders compared to hips etc. I would exercise more, walk a lot . This natural mean of transportation uses the whole body and keep it in fine balance. Make sure your colon is clean, drink 7 8 glasses of water every day. Dance , enjoy music, nature , life. I believe you are healthy and smart. WEIGHT, AND HOW YOU CARRY YOURSELF go hand in hand you are fine

Myself, life in general. I think weight is not a matter of pounds but mostly look and balance I really believe so. Great question my dear.

No! Personally I try not to focus on my number and more of how I feel in my clothes that day. I'm 5'6" and felt my best at 120, but kids change that :) it's not overweight. Besides, weight sits in differently on everyone. It could all be in your boobs or butt lol

Well as i always say, it depends of your body frame

Because I am just 2 inches shorter than you and 40 pounds lighter and I dont look scary skinny
But not everybody is the same, it depends of your frame

ZOMG that's way over weight. A look at this certain female's midsection is all the explanation needed.
