Question: Lose 6 pounds in 3 weeks!?
i am a 15 year old girl. i wiegh 256 punds. i want to lose 6 punds in 3 weeks. all i drink is water. i will eat 1500 calories a day. if i walk two hours a day at 2.5 mph and go to the gym for thirty minutes 4 days a week doing strength training, will i lose the 6 pounds in 3 weeks??

you definitely will. Remember 1 pound is equal to 3500 calories. So if you eat 500 calories less than what you used too, and burn 500 calories a day through exercise you will lose 2 pounds in a week. Which which would match up to your goal. Since you are going to a gym I may recommend you do an elliptical trainer for 30 minutes if possible. You'll easily burn around 450 calories at your weight. Your Routine seems fine and flawless, but in time consider the elliptical to replace you walking. Also please keep in mind to start calmly and then roughly progress when you feel ready. 2 hours at 2.5kph? :O why that much and that slow trying to die of boredom? Do you do some kind of sport? 1lbs of fat = 3500 calories so mathematical yes you should lose 6lbs in 3 weeks but I seriously question you're methods. I don't mean to sound offensive but are you over weight in terms of body fat% or do you train for weightlifting ETC?

Please ignore Brittany, losing 11lbs in a week is very very dangerous, most dietitians would recommend 4-5 small meals in a day and the complete removal of carbs after your last exercise session of the day. You may want to look at doing a more intense cardio work out for a shorter period of time as well if you can physically handle it for example when I do my 3k I do it in about 12mins if I take it fairly easy I can burn a larger amount of callories in a short period of time. Also run/walk/jog outdoors the scenery will make it more enjoyable and makes time pass quicker. Obviously for some the lower intensity walk will be more enjoyable for some but each to their own



I lost 11 pounds in one week by completely cutting out carbs. I ate once a day. I had raw tuna or baked chicken. I ate pickle slices and hot peppers. Hot peppers are good for losing weight. They reduce the growth of fat cells. Also, no sodas. Diet or regular. Drink A LOT of ice cold water. Your body burns calories heating the water to body temperature. Remember, don't eat after 8 and work out a little. This may not be healthy, but fast results are never healthy.
