Don't enrol yourself in any magic weight loss schemes; the only way it is ever humanly possible to get rid of any fat is by converting it to carbohydrate and then using it for exercise, unless you want to have liposuction (which trust me, you don't.) And the only way it is humanly possible not to keep getting fatter is to regulate your consumption - don't have too much. If you have too many 'carbs' ie. bread, rice, pasta etc. then you're converting any more carbs than you need in a day straight into fat. This absolutely DOES NOT MEAN eat less. It means eat less fatty foods and if you think you're having too many carbs eat less of them. Check out your GDAs. It could also be that you don't need to lose weight and you're just kidding yourself. A dietician is freely available in most hospitals in most towns for consultation.

Well, I don't know exactly how much weight you're talking about trying to lose, so I'm going to give you some overall specifics for losing weight fast.

For every 3500 calories equals 1 pound of body weight. So what that means is to lose 1 pound of weight. You're diet would need to consist of a 3500 calorie deficient diet program. The somethings though, they need to be careful. You do not want to go below. Your minimum caloric daily intake. Generally, for a woman it's 1200 and for man it's about 1800 minimum calories per day. Many people try to go below eat as little calories as they can. But this actually just makes your body go into starvation mode and your body will soon begin to adjust to any kind of calorie intake.

So the trick is knowing the right types of food to eat each day. You want to stay away from dairy and wheat products. Because these will actually make you store fat.

When I was at a holiday in Tunisia last summer the food was very strange which left me no choice but to eat only fruit for two weeks. Melons, grapes, plums, apples and peaches were all I ate which made me lose about 4-5kg (sorry, don't know pounds). So a fruit-diet is perfect and drink a lot of water.



Exercise more and eat less. You can't go wrong.
