Protein is the nutrient that builds muscle . People take protein obviously to get more of it in their body .
It's a workout supplement and when taken immediately aftter a workout it works best because thats the growth window and you muscles recieve it directly when they need it the most .
Protein is in meats , milk , nuts , fish , etc naturally .
Im 15 i work out and i get about 150 grams a day. I take protein powder and eat meals with protein in them
for growth and repair of muscle tissue..
also for cell and membrane formation...
and helps the immune system..
skin, hair, nails...
energy and muscle muscle muscle
It's for muscle repair and growth.
