do you really like bananas as a health food? as for me, I like an occasional banana with cereal or with a pudding cup but not as a health food.

Answers:

Well banana's are healthy/ a serving of fruit, and theres tons of ways to enjoy a banana healthily!
My favourite healthy banana combinations:

- Banana with 1-2TBSP natural (smooth or crunchy) nut butter or Nutella
- Sandwhich: Natural peanut butter (2TBSP) or Nutella (1-2TBSP) with optional TBSP jam/ fruit preserve and a thinly sliced banana inside on wholewheat breads/ wholewheat english muffins/ wholewheat crumpets/ wholegrain waffles/ wholewheat wrap/ wholewheat bagel or wholewheat bun) optionally grilled
- Grilled banana with honey and optional cinnamain (or banana with cinnamain)
- Chopped banana in: oat's/ granola/ muesili/ cereal's/ yoghurt's/ cottage cheese/ porridge/ icecream/ frozen yoghurt/ etc
- Bananas added in bakeing (banana bread/ banana muffin's/ pancakes/ etc)
- Dried bananas
- Bananas added in smoothie's (blended)
- Etc.

Hope i'v helped, best of luck!

Fruit is a good food. There are no bad foods according to the FDA. Bananas are a fruit that can be eaten daily or sparingly as long as you have one occasionally. They provide potassium which is an important nutrient. Bananas are retained in fat. That is their biggest down falling. If you are obese, then you might want to avoid them until you are slimmer.

Absolutely, they are full of vitamins and minerals. They also have what is called "resistant starch" which makes you feel full longer and increases your metabolism.
