Did I eat healthy today?!


Question: Did I eat healthy today?
Breakfast- Life original cereal with 1% milk

Lunch-
Sandwhich (mustard, mayonaise, whole wheat bread, cheese, and turkey breast)
Dorito chips (1 small bag)
Capri Sun
String cheese
apples

Dinner:
Split pea soup with two sliced of garlic bread

Yes!! You are doing well.
As far as improvements:
Plain special K without sugar is best.
Mayonnaise is extreamly high in fat, so eat very little of it, and it's best to get the light kind if you can.
Doritos arent the healthiest things ever... But it's ok to have just a LITTLE bit ever once and a while!! =)
Dinner is good! Just make sure your eating whole wheat bread.
It's always good to stay away from white foods, such as white sugar and white bread.
The most important things to eat are fruits and veggies.
Your at a good weight, and dont need to be concerned with losing any, but you should still eat healthy, to stay at a good weight, and just for the overall health of your body.

if your eating chips, opt for the baked choices they taste good and are better for you. switch the capri sun for water, it will save you like 100 calories. dropping soft drink beverages and exchanging them for water will help you drop pounds fast! also, maybe eating a portion of meat or chicken with your dinner instead of the bread. the garlic bread was probably the worst thing you ate. but over all, you eat pretty well!



Yes and No.

The Capri Sun has a lot of sugar so you should drink more water. Overall drinking calories is a bad idea.

Dorito chips. Loaded with sodium and who knows what else. Try a healthy substitute like Veggie Crisps or at least Sun Chips.

If you are trying to lose weight try replacing the carbs with protein.



That seems like an ok meal maybe try substituting the turkey with chicken :) and that also seems like an average weight for a teen keep eating healthy and you'll have nothing to worry about :)



Capri sun is full of Sugar, water is better.
