If you eat more calories in a day than you burn, the extra calories get converted into fat.

Whether those calories come from fat, protein, or carbohydrates doesn't matter. Calories are calories.

Simple carbs like refined sugar and white rice are a concern because you will be hungry again sooner, but strawberries are complex carbohydrates and are a good choice to keep you full for longer so your less likely to go back and overeat later.

Strawberries have very little fat and is an excellent snack to eat. Keep in mind that anything in excess can become a problem. So just eat a couple servings a day and you should be fine.

they contain natural sugars and unused sugar just turns to fat. don't just give up strawberries though as everything contains sugar and different types of glucose. all you need to do is burn it off

Fat content, no. But it does contain sugar and too much can lead to weight gain.
